A film about family, fishing and following your heart.

From the Dell to the Ocean explores a family's heritage at a small West Cornwall cove. The film delicately interweaves new interviews with re-discovered personal archive showing sustainable fishing methods of the 1960s and crab pot making from willow. The short film unveils the family ties that bind Joseph, an 18 year old boy, to his family history and the place which he calls 'home'.

This film is part of a larger project. The Tre Project - Rediscovering Cornwall through Archive film. Funded by Feast and Heritage Lottery where archive film is given a contemporary twist and stories are brought up to date.
