My film work is a mixture of creative documentaries, films that promote ethical causes and moving image work.
I aim to make films that are sensitive, honest with elements of humour, no matter how serious the subject. I'm interested in giving a voice to those who are underrepresented, illustrating through documentary how the ordinary can be extraordinary.
I'm a self-shooter combining digital technology (Sony FS5 / Sony A7 III / Canon 5D II) with traditional analogue film (Super 8), depending on the project and subject matter.
Much of my film practice involves collaborative methods and methodologies with communities to explore the storytelling medium, sense of place and cultural identity.
