I make creative documentaries, films that promote ethical causes and moving image work.
My films give a voice to those who are underrepresented, illustrating through documentary how the ordinary can be extraordinary. My films are sensitively made, honest portrayals of people and places, with a lightness of touch no matter how serious the subject.
I'm a self-shooter using Canon C300 III / Sony A7 III / Canon 5D II. I also make docs using traditional analogue film (Super 8 and 16mm), depending on the project and subject matter.
Much of my film practice involves collaborative methods and methodologies with communities to explore the storytelling medium, sense of place and cultural identity.
